Appearance
The Appearance section controls how Neuji looks in this browser. Unlike the Search and Privacy settings, these are stored per device — in this browser's local storage, not on your account — and they take effect the instant you choose them; there is no Save button. A small script applies your stored choices before the page first paints, so the page never flashes the wrong theme.
Theme
Three choices: System, Light, and Dark. System follows your device's own light/dark setting and changes with it; Light and Dark fix the theme regardless of the device.
High contrast
An independent on/off control that raises contrast for maximum legibility. It works with any theme — high contrast can be on whether you run System, Light, or Dark.
Text size
Scales the interface text: small, medium (the default), large, or extra large. This is Neuji's own scaling and is separate from your browser's or operating system's text zoom, which Neuji also respects.
Display language
The language of Neuji's interface — its menus, labels, and buttons. Six are available: English, العربية (Arabic), Español, Français, Deutsch, and 日本語 (Japanese). The change is applied at once and is remembered for this device. Selecting Arabic also switches the interface to right-to-left.
